The First Meeting is All About Listening

The most important thing you can do in the first meeting is listen.
 

Don’t go in thinking you need to show the platform or run a demo. Treat it as a fact-finding mission.

Your goal is to understand:

  • What decision challenges they face

  • Where their friction is — speed, inclusion, trust, clarity

  • Whether they see this as about stakeholder engagement for internal and/or external stakeholders

  • Look for the ability for great partnership opportunity eg Tranby can build a business in the indigenous stakeholder space using Wizer. Can our clients be turned into long term partners and use Wizer to build their busienss?

    Then — and only then — can you shape the right story, choose the right materials, and show how Wizer fits as a solution to their specific problem.
