What Wizer’s Recommendation Engine Really Does (And Why It Changes Everything About Team Decisions)

What Happens When the Right People Are in the Room: Inside Wizer’s Recommendation Engine

Most organisations don’t know what’s missing—until a decision goes sideways. At Wizer, we built the Recommendation Engine to stop that from happening.

What It Does Our system continuously scans decision panels and highlights when something’s missing. It might be:

  • A lack of cognitive diversity (e.g. all option-focused thinkers, no process-focused ones)

  • A gap in expertise for the decision at hand

  • Too few people overall to generate true “wise crowd” input (6+ required)

What a Recommendation Means

  • It’s not random. The platform is surfacing people based on how they think, contribute, and fill the decision gap.

  • Sometimes it's a new voice—a future leader, a less visible expert, or someone often overlooked.

  • For leaders, it’s a green light that they’re ready to move forward with confidence.

  • For those recommended, it’s recognition—and often their first formal invitation into a key decision.

Why It Matters

  • Decisions become stronger.

  • Inclusion becomes meaningful.

  • Organisational intelligence increases—because more people are seen, involved, and growing.

One Number, Real Impact:That arrow in the Wizer dashboard pointing to “24 Recommendations”? It’s not a metric. It’s a reflection of culture in motion. It means the right people are being surfaced. Blind spots are being caught. And decisions are getting smarter, faster.
